Friends and Servants
For over 20 years Friends and Servants has been providing tangible work experience to juvenile offenders. Through this experience, they are able to complete their community service hours, pay court fines, and develop as a person, all in a supportive environment. Staff and volunteers focus on building relationships, working with youth to introduce values and skills that prepare them to succeed in the workplace and avoid reoffending.
Friends and Servants is unique in the work experience projects offered to teens. These projects provide youth with an avenue to fulfill court requirements while giving them a positive work experience. Work experience projects include:
- Lawn care and landscaping services
- Greenhouse operation maintenance
- Puyallup berry and vegetable farm maintenance
- Service projects in the community
