Toni believes in a holistic approach to training. She trains in a way that meets her client’s goals; which often focuses on loosing inches, with the unexpected results of improved balance, strength, speed, stamina, posture and an overall feeling of well being. Toni is energetic and she will share in the sweat and burn with you as you both work hard to meet your health and fitness goals. Toni has more than ten years of experience as a trainer. She spent five years in the U.S. Army as a Non-commissioned Officer leading her soldiers at Physical Training and then transitioned to a civilian career for the last four years as a certified personal trainer. Toni has worked in large gym settings and has owned her own personal training business. She also holds an A.A. in Physical Education. She has an extensive athletic background, but her niche is in long distance running and amateur boxing. Toni is a native to Southern California but has moved to Tacoma with her husband who is stationed at Ft. Lewis. She has two young children.

I am a native of Western Washington, raised in the Hood Canal area. I was an active teenager as well as a young adult. If I wasn’t participating in a sport, I was on the dance team or riding my dirt bike. When I reached my 20’s I started to really notice that my thin, shapeless body was still just that. I decided to start exercising more regularly and began lifting weights. I fell in love with weight lifting and for the first time in my life my body was changing, I was sold. I have been weight training for 11 years. In the last five I have specifically been training for bodybuilding/figure competitions. I have found the training to be extremely successful for myself. As with any exercise regimen there is always room to change and modify workouts to keep yourself progressing and avoid plateaus. My philosophy is to determine your hold-ups when it comes to personal fitness and help you overcome them safely and effectively. My goals is for you to continue a successful journey long after our time together.
