Yoga/Pilates Class Schedule

Adaptive Yoga
Adaptive Yoga uses the principles of yoga to create movements for those with limited mobility-due to injury or illness- which increases strength and flexibility, while also contributing to a calm mind and spirit. This class is appropriate for all levels of physical ability.

Gentle Yoga
New to YOGA? Focus is on Relaxation, Stretching, Form, and Breathing techniques. Will provide you with a strong YOGA foundation.

Healthy Back
The purpose of the Healthy Back class is to help those with back pain find relief and adopt behaviors that will prevent future problems. The class is open to anyone who wishes to learn how to protect the back and keep it healthy.

Pilates 101
Learn the basics of Pilates. Gentle rhythmic movements focusing on breath, flexibility and core stabilization. For all levels!

Pilates with Props
An intermediate level Pilates class for those familiar with basic Pilates principles and exercises adding the use of Pilates props – Magic Circle, mini ball, and foam rollers.

PiYo™
A unique class designed to build strength and gain flexibility. A choreographed program that combines the elements of Yoga and Pilates with energy, power and rhythm. Think sculpted abdominals, increased overall core strength and greater flexibility. Appropriate for all fitness levels.

Power Yoga
For the more advanced participant of yoga. You are guided skillfully and gently through postures held in accurate alignment. Learn how to develop and control your breathing through a series of flowing movements designed to strengthen and lengthen the muscles, developing a mind-body connection.

Rhythmic Stretch
A relaxing one hour class that stretches all the major muscles of the body, slowly moving from one stretch to another through gently choreographed moves designed to improve overall flexibility. The class utilizes flexibility bands, Pilates balls, Swiss balls, and ballet barre.

Yoga

Yoga for Athletes
Looking for a new way to get in your resistance work? You might be surprised to find that yoga makes a perfect companion for athletes of all sports as well as the ‘jack-of-all-trade’ fitness enthusiasts. Yoga can help you develop better breathing techniques while it improves your balance, flexibility, core strength, and endurance. This class is designed with a specific focus on deep, relaxed breathing and developing the habit of breathing correctly while strengthening, lengthening and conditioning the body.

Yoga B.R.E.A.T.H.E. – Breathe, Relax, Energize, Align, Tone, Harmony, Evolve 
Yoga B.R.E.A.T.H.E. will provide those with a strong yoga foundation a platform upon which to build and further develop. The practice will take you beyond the basic poses and explore breathing techniques, meditation, partnering as well as a variety of yoga forms.
