Announcement:
The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties has an immediate need to add to our team of quality Swim Instructors at the Bremerton Family YMCA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain good public relations with members, always representing the best interests of the YMCA.
- Teach members swim skills and water safety aging from 6 months through adults.
- Know and enforce rules to ensure the health and safety of all participants.
- Understand the YMCA's mission, goals, objectives, and programs to better relay this information to members and build strong kids, strong families and strong communities.
- Perform responsibilities of swim instructor as assigned by Aquatic Directors and LEAD Aquatic Staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 16 years of age.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to respond to critical incidents and to act swiftly in emergency situations.
