Announcement:
The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties has an immediate need to add to our team of quality Lifeguards at the Bremerton Family YMCA.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain good public relations with members, always representing the best interests of the YMCA.
• Know and enforce rules to ensure the health and safety of all participants.
• Understand the YMCA's mission, goals, objectives, and programs to better relay this information to members and build strong kids, strong families and strong communities.
• Perform responsibilities of lifeguard as assigned by Aquatic Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 16 years of age.
• CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, First Aid, Oxygen Administration, and Lifeguard Certifications.
• The ability to pass the lifeguard test (physical and oral) at all times.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to respond to critical incidents and to act swiftly in emergency situations.
