PLEASE BE ADVISED: We will be on a modified operating schedule Monday, September 1, for the Labor Day holiday. We will be open from 7am-3pm.

All registered programming for the day will be canceled. All drop-in activities - including group exercise classes - that occur during the modified operating times will take place as scheduled. Thank you for your understanding and enjoy your holiday weekend!

Just a reminder ... we will begin draining areas of the aquatic center this Sunday, August 31, as we commence a maintenance and cleaning effort throughout the holiday week. The aquatic center will be officially closed through Sunday, September 7.

We apologize that this closure may cause an inconvenience, but it is necessary that we clean, and inspect and repair any damaged areas of the recreational pool. Thank you for your cooperation during our effort to keep our pool running as efficiently as possible.

TWO ways to play this Fall! Volleyball at the Haselwood YMCA, and outdoor soccer at the Bremerton Family YMCA. Ages 5-12 for soccer, and 7-12 for volleyball.

Register online or at the Welcome Center for volleyball:

PLEASE BE ADVISED: Both water slides and the fountains in the recreation swimming pool will be down until further notice for routine maintenance.

Thank you for your understanding while we work to keep our facility functioning properly.

Looking for a way to stay motivated and active during the busy time of Fall? Small group sessions of TRX are open for registration! This session will run September 15 - October 11th. Register here: http://tinyurl.com/qy7ul9c

Thank you to all who came out to support, compete and cheer on competitors during the 2014 Strongman Competition. Here are the final results! A big thanks to the Washington National Guard, Silverdale CrossFit, and the Bremerton and Tom Taylor YMCA!

PLEASE BE ADVISED: Our showers are currently experiencing tepid temperatures as the circulation pump that supplies the domestic water lines with hot water has failed. We are awaiting the arrival of a replacement part, which is en route from Vancouver, Wash., and should be here sometime this afternoon.

We will work diligently to repair the issue in the quickest time possible. It is our hope to have the issue resolved and hot water flowing back through the building by later this evening. We apologize for the inconvenience. We know no one enjoys a cold shower, but please bear with us as we work to restore normal water temperatures.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: The Rec Pool is closed until Monday August 18 at4:45am. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The Lap Pool is open on regular schedule.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Thank you to all who came out to participate, help, and support the Strongman Competition today! Results and pictures will be posted by end of next week! Congratulations to everyone!
