PLEASE BE ADVISED: Our restrooms are currently out of order due to construction on arterial roadways. This issue was not a planned closure, and arose during this morning's work. We are working to secure portable restrooms as soon as possible, and Silverdale Water Works is working to restore our water use.

The building will remain open for the immediate future.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and all parties are working diligently to remedy the issue. We will provide updates as we learn more.

The aquatic center reopened on time and is ready for use. Come on in for a dip!

Thank you all for your patience as we worked to service the pool. This was the first time we had attempted this major a shutdown project, and we are glad things went as smoothly as they did. A special thanks goes to our facilities manager, Albert, and our maintenance team - especially our pool maintenance expert Terry - for their long hours. Your hard work shows!

Ever wondered how long our lazy river is? Well so have we (the blueprints do not indicate). Well we took the opportunity to measure after the recreational pool was drained.

The lazy river is 88 feet in length, so you would need to take 60 laps around the river to reach one mile.

Fall is here and were all looking to stay on track with our wellness goals! Join our 8 week Healthy Happy Weight Loss Challenge to keep you motivated and accountable. This session will run Sept 22 - Nov 16.
Collect 3 friends to make your team of 4 or join as an individual and meet other Y members! Participants will be required to weigh in weekly and turn in food logs. Orientation will be held Sept 20, 9AM.
Fee: $10 Register here: http://tinyurl.com/pvdefau

Don't forget, our summer Sunday hours are now over, and we will return to our usual Sunday hours of 8am-8pm. This change begins this Sunday, September 7.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: We will be on a modified operating schedule Monday, September 1, for the Labor Day holiday. We will be open from 7am-3pm.

All registered programming for the day will be canceled. All drop-in activities - including group exercise classes - that occur during the modified operating times will take place as scheduled. Thank you for your understanding and enjoy your holiday weekend!

Just a reminder ... we will begin draining areas of the aquatic center this Sunday, August 31, as we commence a maintenance and cleaning effort throughout the holiday week. The aquatic center will be officially closed through Sunday, September 7.

We apologize that this closure may cause an inconvenience, but it is necessary that we clean, and inspect and repair any damaged areas of the recreational pool. Thank you for your cooperation during our effort to keep our pool running as efficiently as possible.
