Classes and Programs
Classes and programs are included in your YMCA membership such as swimming lessons, sports classes, preschool tumbling, and more.The system will not take registrations past 10pm on the last day of registration. Register Online for Classes and Programs.

Registration Guidelines
- Registration form must be filled out completely.
- Child must have a current Gig Harbor YMCA membership at the time of registration.
- Registration is by the lottery system; registrants are not guaranteed a specific class.
- To increase your chance of receiving a class, please complete three choices per section.
How the System Works
With over 18,000 members and over 5,000 youths attending our branch we have found a lottery or random based system is the most effective way to provide all members an equal opportunity to register for classes. During registration week, members can register for classes online or at the Welcome Center. Once the registration period is over, registration is closed, and our computer system will randomly select class participants based on the member’s registration preferences.
Rosters
Rosters will be posted on the Thursday following the closing of registration week. Only those members whose names appear on the roster will be allowed into the class.
