Volunteer at the Y

Who is a YMCA Volunteer?

YMCA volunteers are our group exercise instructors. They coach youth sports teams and teach children and adults life-saving swim skills. Still, others work in our offices and support the Strong Kids Campaign. No matter how volunteers help, they make a big difference as they work with others to create a feeling of connectedness in your community.

To apply for a volunteer position, please complete the volunteer application in full, including the Washington State patrol background check. Specify the desired volunteer position from the options listed below. Return applications to the Gig Harbor Family YMCA Welcome Center. Incomplete applications may not be processed.
