Aquatics Private Swimming Lessons

Participants are divided into three groups to learn swimming skills or water fitness at an individual pace. For more information, contact Dana Bierman, Aquatics Director at 253-534-7860 or dbierman@ymcapkc.org.Level One
For adults who are new to swimming, including those with no swim experience or have a fear of the water, this small class will focus on water safety and simple swimming skills including floating, kicking, bobbing, crawl stroke and back stroke.
Level Two
For adults with some swim experience, this class will focus on stroke technique including breaststroke, elementary backstroke, butterfly and sidestroke.
Water Fitness

Guided Swim Workout

Pool lanes are open to members 15 years and older. Children under 15 are welcome in the lap lanes upon completion of a swim test and a discussion of lap lane rules and etiquette.12 Week Program
