Fall Prevention Week
Every September, the Gig Harbor Family YMCA hosts awareness, health and well-being events for older adults and their families as a part of Fall Prevention Week and in partnership with the Fall Prevention Coalition. Food as Medicine
Lifestyle changes are now recommended as the first choice for major chronic diseases such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and cancer. Many of these can be improved or event prevented by using healthy food and lifestyle habits. Learn more about strategies for healthy eating. Presented by Robin Beeson, RD, CD, CDE, CPT.
